Mariam Tsiklauri: Traditional, Modernist, Poetic

Mariam Tsiklauri was born in Tbilisi in 1960. She edited several Georgian literary series and is a sensual author who touches upon various matters and themes with her poems; she’s also very prominent in children’s poetry. Her children’s poems, translations, essays and articles are regularly published in various journals and magazines, and her work has been translated into English, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Armenian and Russian.
